MAYDAY! FAEBLE'S Mayhem to Hold Birthday Live and Release Her First EP

Idol fans! Get excited! Sydney idol group FAEBLE's Mayhem is set to hold her very first birthday live and release her new EP on September 15th 2024!

Pop it in your calendar and get ready for an idol live unlike any other you've ever seen before - with guest performers such as Tilda, Himawari, Wooly and of course FAEBLE, new merchandise, and so much more to look forward to.

To find out more we sat down with Mayhem to chat all things MAYDAY, Idols and her new EP:

Tell us about your idol journey? How did you get started? What inspired you? I started off like a lot of other Australian idols - doing Love Live and vocaloid dance covers! I was just so inspired by the idols I saw on the internet who seemed to be having so much fun and I wanted to get in on that~ And so, I did!
In my fan era, I often left idol live shows feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world, so even beyond just escapism I actually find idols to be so energizing that I feel ready to chase my own dreams and live my own life the way I want to, which is something I hope to be able to do for other people as well. Tldr: idols inspired me!
Favourite moment of your idol journey so far? Ooh, so far I would say releasing original music with FAEBLE was such a huge victory for me and for us - stream "to the FUTURE!" on all streaming services!! The support we received on this release was incredible and made me feel so warm and fuzzy - little me never would've thought I could be part of something like this!
Being able to share our work with the world and have it be real and tangible has been such a fulfilling experience - and making my own solo original music has me excited to be able to do that all over again!
How does it feel to have your very first birthday live?
Scary!!!! And also exciting?!?! I didn't feel ready in the past, but I think I finally feel like I can do a birthday live the way I'd want to - although between you and me, I probably was always ready but I just didn't feel confident enough to take the jump...
There's a sense of responsibility I have to the people who have supported me so far, and I want to give back and to show everyone what I've learnt so far and to declare to the world who 'mayhem' is. It's my My Hero Academia school festival Deku moment.

Can you give us any hints on what we may expect from your new music being released at the event?
The EP has 3 songs, all of which are very different but show off the different sides of mayhem! If I had to sum each song into one word, the songs would be 'goofy', 'soft', and 'cool'! I think no one really knows what to expect from me, so no matter what I do it'll probably be surprising in some way, but it's definitely going to be fun!!
