Sydney, your morning coffee run just got a serious upgrade.
To celebrate Spider-Man: Brand New Day landing on Prime Video, Sony Pictures and Prime Video are teaming up with The Grounds of the City to give away FREE coffees this Thursday, 8 October.
Yep. Free coffee. From Spider-Man.
From 7AM to 12PM, fans can swing by The Grounds of the City at The Galeries and grab a free regular takeaway coffee, served in a very appropriately Spidey-themed cup.
And because apparently a free coffee wasn't enough, Spider-Man himself will be making an appearance between 7AM and 11AM. So if you've ever wanted to start your Thursday by casually getting a caffeine hit from a superhero, this is your moment.
The café will also be getting a full Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man takeover, with themed touches throughout the morning. Guests will receive one of five special Brand New Day cards, featuring a little message for the day ahead centred around Courage, Kindness, Adventure, Instinct or Possibility.
Honestly, we could all use a Courage card before 8AM.
🕷️ WHERE TO GET YOUR FREE COFFEE

📅 Thursday, 8 October 2026
⏰ 7AM–12PM
☕ One free regular takeaway coffee per person
Just a heads up: the free coffee supply can run out early, so perhaps don't decide to roll out of bed at 11:59AM and expect Spider-Man to have saved you.
And once you've secured your caffeine? You can keep the Spidey day going at home, with Spider-Man: Brand New Day available to Rent or Buy on Prime Video from 6 October.
So, Sydney: set the alarm, charge your phone, and prepare to make your morning coffee run slightly more heroic than usual.
With great power comes great responsibility. With great coffee comes… hopefully a functional Thursday.
