Calling All Pokémon Trainers - Get Yourself Down to DreamHack This Weekend

Attention Pokemon GO trainers! 

It's time to dust off those pokeballs, Pokemon GO will be at DreamHack Melbourne this weekend! They will be activating at Melbourne & Olympic Parks for exciting in-person gameplay and giveaways you won't want to miss! Plus why not show off your favourite Pokemon or Pokemon trainer cosplays while you play! 

What to expect:

Event Bonuses

  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours. This does not include Golden Lures;
  • Lure Modules have a chance of attracting Unown D;
  • 2 x Buddy Catch assist chance;
  • 1/2  Stardust cost for trades.

Field Research Task Rewards

Event-themed Field Research tasks will also be available.

The following Pokémon will be available to encounter when visitors complete Field Research tasks:

Furfrou 

Goomy

Jangmo-o

Dubwool

Timed Research - Me, You and Pickachu!

Event-themed Timed Research will be available throughout the event. Complete the research tasks to earn Stardust, XP, Pikachu Candy and an encounter with Pikachu wearing a red party hat.
