Global girl group XG are officially returning to Australia in 2026, bringing their highly anticipated ‘THE CORE’ world tour to Melbourne and Sydney.
Frontier Touring and AEG Presents have confirmed that XG (Xtraordinary Genes) will hit Australian stages this October, marking their biggest shows in the country to date. Following a massive 2025 visit, the seven-member group is set to level up with arena performances that showcase their evolution as one of the most exciting global acts right now.
XG’s Biggest Australian Shows Yet
Fans can catch XG live at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Monday 12 October, before the group heads to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Wednesday 14 October.
Presale tickets will be available to Frontier Members from 12pm local time on Wednesday 6 May, with general tickets going on sale Thursday 7 May at 1pm local time.
With demand expected to be high, these shows are shaping up to be must-see events for Australian fans, known as ALPHAZ, who have been eagerly awaiting the group’s return.
Celebrating ‘THE CORE – 核’
The tour supports XG’s first full-length album THE CORE - 核, released in January 2026 to strong global reception. The project marks a defining moment for the group, highlighting their artistic growth, genre-blending sound, and powerful identity.
Audiences can expect a dynamic setlist featuring fan-favourite hits like LEFT RIGHT and WOKE UP, alongside newer tracks including HYPNOTIZE and ROCK THE BOAT. Known for their high-energy performances, razor-sharp choreography, and commanding stage presence, XG’s live shows are a full-scale production.
From Coachella to Global Domination
Since their last Australian tour, XG have continued their rapid rise on the global stage. In 2025, they made history as the only Japanese artist to perform at Coachella, where they closed the Sahara stage across both weekends with electrifying performances.
Their growing list of achievements includes topping Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart and landing on the Billboard 200 with their 2024 mini album AWE. Their debut world tour, The first HOWL, spanned 47 shows across 35 cities and drew around 400,000 attendees, culminating in a 50,000-strong crowd at Tokyo Dome.
Asia and Australia Tour Dates
XG’s ‘THE CORE’ world tour will also include major stops across Asia, including Bangkok, Manila, and Taipei, before arriving in Australia this October.
