The Blood of Dawnwalker Reveals New Teaser, Cover Art, and Music Under the Full Wolf Moon
Rebel Wolves is leaning fully into the myth.
Under January’s Full Wolf Moon, the Warsaw-based studio has unveiled a new teaser for its upcoming dark fantasy action RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker, offering fresh looks at gameplay, characters, music, and the game’s striking official cover art. And yes, it’s as moody, gothic, and blood-soaked as you’d hope.
Published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and launching in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, The Blood of Dawnwalker is shaping up to be one of the most atmospheric RPGs on the horizon.

The newly released teaser pulls players deeper into Vale Sangora, a mysterious and dangerous region nestled in the Carpathian Mountains. Captured from the game’s current PC beta build, the footage introduces previously unseen locations alongside new characters who will play key roles in the story.
This isn’t just a scenic fantasy backdrop, Vale Sangora feels ancient, cursed, and alive with secrets. Every frame leans into the game’s obsession with folklore, time, and place, reinforcing Rebel Wolves’ commitment to grounded, historically inspired dark fantasy.
Alongside the teaser, Rebel Wolves revealed the game’s official cover art, spotlighting protagonist Coen, a Dawnwalker, cursed to live as a human by day and a vampire by night.
Set against a dramatic solar eclipse, the artwork visually reinforces one of the game’s core themes: duality. Light and shadow. Mortality and monstrosity. Choice and consequence. It’s a striking image that immediately positions The Blood of Dawnwalker as a character-driven RPG rooted in inner conflict as much as external danger.

Rebel Wolves also debuted the game’s main musical theme, filmed during a live studio recording session and composed by lead composer Nikola Kołodziejczyk. The piece is performed by the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of Tychy, and it leans heavily into historical authenticity.
According to Kołodziejczyk, the score draws from instruments and tonal traditions associated with 14th-century Central Europe, grounding the game’s supernatural elements in a believable historical soundscape.
“We wanted to pay homage to that era and its people, and stay as true to historical authenticity as possible,” explains Kołodziejczyk.
The result is a theme that feels haunting without being theatrical, restrained, textured, and deeply tied to place.
Rounding out the announcements, Rebel Wolves released a special retrospective video reflecting on the past year of The Blood of Dawnwalker. From the game’s first reveal to extended gameplay showcases and appearances at major industry events, the studio credits its growing community for shaping the journey so far.

With wishlist numbers climbing and anticipation building, the team has made it clear: this is only the beginning.
