She's back! Ado returns for her second world tour, "Hibana"
Crunchyroll, the home of anime, has announced that the iconic Japanese vocalist Ado will embark on her second world tour, Ado WORLD TOUR 2025 "Hibana". Following the massive success of her sold-out debut tour, Wish, Ado's new tour promises to captivate even more fans around the world in 2025.
Set to be one of the largest world tours ever organized by a Japanese artist, Hibana will kick off in April at Tokyo's renowned Saitama Super Arena. Ado is scheduled to light up over 30 cities worldwide, including Sydney and Melbourne in May, before concluding the tour in Honolulu, Hawaii, in August. Fans can expect an extraordinary experience from one of Japan's most celebrated voices.
"If my 1st world tour was my “Wish,” my next step is to light a fire in the world as someone from Japan. Hot as a spark of fire, even if it’s small, I want to be the inspiration to start something big. “Hibana” is a Japanese word for “Spark.” I want to bring my Japanese heritage on the road with me so I named this tour “Hibana,” in Japanese." Ado said.
Ado originally toyed with naming the tour "Spark," as it reflects the essence of her intentions. To start a revolution can also be expressed as “ Spark a Revolution,” and the word “spark” is also often used in contexts like “light a fire,” “start a fire” and “provoke something.” Ado explained.
Known for her captivating voice and enigmatic identity, Ado has enchanted audiences worldwide. Her powerful vocals have graced soundtracks of popular anime series like SPY x FAMILY and ONE PIECE FILM: RED. The latter's title track, "New Genesis," achieved remarkable success, topping the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart and Apple Music’s Top 100: Global Chart.
Fans eager Ado will perform at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on May 25, followed by a show at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on May 27.
