Cosplay Central Crown Championships set to debut at PAX Aus 2022

Gear up and prep those cosplays, the Cosplay Central Crown Championships is set to debut at PAX Aus 2022! 

This celebration of cosplay craftsmanship will bring the biggest and best cosplayers together from all over the world. Following the new Crown Championships debut at MCM London Comic Con in October 2022, the 2023 final will take place at C2E2, Chicago, USA.

For the first time ever at PAX Aus, Aussie cosplayers will have the opportunity to be selected as a finalist to compete with a Global audience!

“We’re so excited to announce that PAX Aus will be hosting the Australian Leg of The Cosplay Central Crown Championships,” said Katherine ‘Kitty’ Grace, Content & Community Manager for PAX Aus.“The Cosplay Community is an important piece of the PAX puzzle and we cannot wait to
celebrate the best ANZ cosplayers have to offer.”

Hoping to take cosplay to new heights through a jam-packed schedule of panels and workshops, photo backdrops and professional photo-ops Pax Aux will also feature the Cosplay Central Lounge - the ultimate destination and meeting place for the cosplay community complete with change rooms and a repair station.

The Cosplay Central Crown Championship finals and judging will tie off the three-day event taking place on the PAX Aus Main Stage on the Sunday afternoon.

To revel in the glory of all things gaming, community and cosplay, limited badges are still available for PAX Aus 2022, which takes place on October 7-9th at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
